Public Community Library

This space grows out of Out of Sight’s long-term commitment to the presentation of artistic research projects. Many artistic processes develop through conversation, experimentation, reading, listening, and exchange, yet these forms of knowledge often remain invisible once a work is presented publicly. The Public Community Library creates a context in which these processes can remain accessible and continue to generate new encounters.

In dedication to Johanna M. Pas (1969–2023), activist, poet, translator, and owner of the queer bookshop Kartonnen Dozen in Antwerp.
